Within 1 month, I heard a harmonic whine when driving between 35 MPH and 60 MPH, whether I am cruising, accelerating, or foot off the gas. It appears to be getting louder since then. amf1932 Posted March 21, 2004 Share Posted March 21, 2004 It could be the tires causing this noise. Check the tire inflation and make sure they're in specification. I run my inflation at about 30psi on an '03 ES. What brand tires do you have? My car was equipped with Bridgestone tires and they're very quiet and smooth.
