Cooling Seats Not Working? (Feel No Difference)

Recommended Posts

I know this is old. But I own a 2013 RX and just bought a 2015 RX about a month ago. In my 2013, it doesn't feel like it does ANYTHING. However, my 2015 works like a charm. You can feel it and it feels great. My 2013 feels like it makes the seat warmer.

I had a 2012 Lexus ES 350, and I could definitely feel the wind come out of the seats.  The seats cooled remarkably well.  I now have a 2016 Lexus ES 350 (with every option available).  I agree that the seat coolers do not work well; they definitely don't work as well as my 2012 model (if they are working at all).  I just bought this car 1 month ago, so when I get my first oil change, I will have them take a look.  However, I'm sure they will say it's working fine, but I will give them the benefit of doubt at this point.

I own a 2011 Toyota Avalon with ventilated seats and it has amazing airflow. Compared to my RX it's a tremendous difference. One would think that Toyota and Lexus would share technology being that they're basically the same company.
