jace Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 I am new to this forum and am looking at a 98 GS300 with 33,000 miles offered by the local Lexus dealer. This is a one owner locally owned car serviced by the selling dealer. Asking price was originally $22,800, and is now at $19,750. They have had the car over a month. Initial test drive was positive. No moisture in the lenses. It does have what I believe to be a dealer installed spoiler and there may be a little rust showing on the underside of the trunk lid where the spoiler is screwed in. This may need to be addressed. There is some rust on the screws and it also looks like some on the trunk itself. There is one scratch on the rear deck below the bumper but it otherwise looks clean. Color is a gold-brown (don't know the color name yet). It has the original Goodyear Invictas which need to be replaced. Also I would run four snows in Maine. Any thoughts on pricing as well as concern about buying the first year model for the G2. Also any experience with the G in snow?? Thanks for replies. audio28 Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 That sounds like a good price to me. I bought my gs300 for 24000 at 17k but it wasn't serviced at Lexus.
