Jap Spec 300TT Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 :( I just got my "new" '92 sc300 as usual there is a but. I only got one key. Unfortunately in my small island i cannot get copies made. AWJ Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 Good to hear the ride is finally in! As far as a key, there is no Lexus or Toyota dealership on your island? How about a nearby one? I'd say they could cut a key based on your vin #. I've seen key blanks at e-bay. Maybe a good smith could cut a new key? Or a new lock set with new keys. Wish I could say more. RedRocket Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 I found that Sewell Lexus will make keys. They require that you register with Lexus "Customer Care". They cut the key from the owner database. I have not tried this service myself but am contemplating doing it, so anyone else that has ant info would be helpful.
