W126Benzo
Hey everybody, I'm seriously considering purchasing a 1995 Lexus LS400. The only reason I post this thread is because it has almost 230,000 miles on it-obviously that's a little high. I can't find any information on about how long these engines last. Would this be worth my time? It would me my main daily driver if I do buy it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Reysc
I see your post is over a month old. Sorry for the late reply but I just joined myself. We were in the same boat till yesterday when I bought my 99 LS with 107k . I found this guide very useful, http://www.lexls.com/info/lsgenerations.html From my research and IMHO this cars runs "forever" with proper care and routine maintenance. There are a few out there ( I'm in DFW area) with lesser mileage what is more important is the documented care/maintenance by the P.O. Good luck! mastercylinder
230k miles is not alot if maintained, I know people with 320k plus and purr like new. I see wrecked on salvage auctions all the time 300k plus and they were driving when crashed.
