Latoilette Posted March 11, 2004 Share Posted March 11, 2004 Yesterday, i blew the a/c compressor o-ring or something of similar nature. i was charging freon, got a phone call. after talking on the phone for a few seconds, my a/c system was overcharged and freon sprayed itself out of the a/c compressor. this morning, i ordered a compressor from a junk yard for 50+ shipping. i've very mechanically inclined, but i've never changed a compressor before. any tips on this removal and installation?
