hess48
Why does the instantanious milage only show a max of 40 miles per gallon? Does the computer calculate average milage using only 40 or does it calculate at a higher rate? (when going down hills)
KathleenL
I don't really have an answer - just my humble guess... But, that guess is that the (gas powered) car isn't expected to ever get over 40 mpg, so why bother with a graph that would show higher than that? Unless you coast down a lot of hills, the average of the downhill coast and the uphill or level driving would average out to 40 mpg or less. But, that's just a guess on my part. Your opinion may vary. :-)
SW03ES
It averages at higher than 40, just doesn't display it on the graph.
