GatorM
Hello everyone. I am a brand new member of the club. Just bought the wife a 'new' 2005 GX470. She has owned a '99 Land Cruiser for 190k miles and I can only hope this one is near the vehicle that one was. So, not long after getting the car I noticed the height control compressor was running quite often. I crawled underneath to find a punctured passenger side airbag. I then removed the 50A fuse in hopes of saving the compressor (I've been down this road before with a GMC Yukon XL Denali). So tonight I replaced the airbag assembly and now I cannot get the system to activate. It is locked in the "N" position with no flashing "Off" light. I can turn the system on and off but nothing happens. I noticed underneath that both driver and passenger side height control sensors have been replaced and look to be nearly new. The other Suspension fuse (10A) is not blown so I am searching for a solution. Thanks for letting me in the club Robert Oops, I just noticed I put this in the LX forum...SORRY
xxstewart
Here are wiring diagrams for the height control system. I'd check all the fuses to start with, and if you have a voltmeter, check for voltages at all the critical locations. Hopefully the suspension ECU blackbox isn't the problem.
