stone chips

As a big topic in the euro owners club regarding stone chips and rusting on the IS200 range.. have any members had any problems with severe stone chipping and rust underneath coming through in the US IS300 range?

the IS300 has very soft paint on the front bumper. Yes I have a few, no rust though.

I noticed my first paint chips about 2 weeks after taking ownership of my brand new is300. After washing it today, after owning it for about 6 weeks, I've noticed several paint chips on the hood. As you can guess, I'm not too happy about this. My previous car (a pontiac sunfire) with 100k miles on it has fewer paint chips than this.
