babyduke Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I can't open it by lightly pushing on it anymore. I have to force it open by pressing the back part. Spring action is gone. LexBob2 Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 You didn't mention the year or mileage of you car. It it's within the factory warranty period, it's covered. If you're outside the warranty period, it isn't covered. You might be able to find a friendly dealer to make a goodwill repair, but I wouldn't count on it.
