dan kel Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 where do i add freon? i looked a lot, can't figure it out! it's ok if you call me stupid! Found a port on the driver side of radiator header, but the cap has a H on it. is this the high port?
UCF3 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Dont think you can add freon. The 98 SC is using a CFC refrigirants (r134) i believe. I have no idea how to replace it. You could take it to a shop?
GrnHrnt Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 You are right,the cap marked "H" is the high pressure port. Low pressure port,cap marked "L",is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. Not easy to spot,but it's there.
