Weatherstripping Around Hatch Is Loose

2006 RX400h - The weatherstripping along the bottom and side of the hatch area is loose. Doesn't seem to be torn, it pretty much stays in place but obviously needs to be re-glued. Seems to use some thick black glump to hold it in place.

Has anyone done this before?

I would use Black or clear silicone and hold in place with blue masking take until it sets...

its supposed to be loose... there is nothing wrong as long as it stays in position
