I recently got a 07 IS 250 and am looking to put 20's on it. but some people have told me they wouldnt fit but they dont have proof. does anyone have any insight

20" rims on an IS250,....you're kidding right?!

If you are intent on that SUV look, with the brakes looking totally out of proportion with the weels, then yes it should fit depending on off set and tire profile. Do a search over at the 2nd gen Clublexus forums there should be lots of examples.

19" would be the max recommendation.

20's will fit with right combination of rim width, offset, tire sizing. Many ISx50 owners in California run 20" wheels. But they are even more prone than 19's to damage from bad roads, etc. Check with an experienced and recommended custom tire/wheel shop in your area for specs.
