seabird Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I think I have to have my rear hub bearings replaced. Symptom is a low frequency humming starting at 60/km/hr. Has anyone had this same issue and/or done the replacement themselves.

Abhitha Munasinghe Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Hi guys, this is my first post (comment?) but I'm here to find a specific part for my dad's 07 RX 350. I'm looking for the " rear radius arm bushing" on our RX. Back Story: Our family mechanic spent a good 3 hours dissecting the RX's back-end trying to figure out a vibration which starts at around 80kmph. We were told that if we went to Lexus directly they will want to replace the entire rear struts, but our mechanic is telling us this is unnecessary, as the only needed replacement is the bushings which have worn. By the way, we already replaced the rear hub bearings very recently while I was working (for fun) with my mechanic over the summer. Any ideas as to sites which may carry this part (and ship to Toronto)? Thanks again :)

Abhitha Munasinghe Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I belive so, but my mechanic has yet to take a look at the blown-up view and confirm that I have found the right part. The SUV is garage parked except for the occasional run to the mall whilst we get this sorted out.. Sorry for the late reply, been quite busy. :)
