Mike523 Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 I checked the lower ball joints specs, they say .012in, I have .030 - .034. Dan at Lexus thought that doesn't warrant a change yet. 99lsguy Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 My lexus repair shop (indep) said they would only last 90K or so on the Gen I's..... ;) Some changes were made on the 98+ models for improvement. Now, maybe that improvement was just in ride quality - not durability. But I gathered that they thought (the durability) was improved also. 93LSOwner Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 How would one tell that lower ball joints are worn out, with and with out lifting the car up. What does it looks like after over used?
