Gs 400 Vs 2013 Gs 350

The 2013 GS 350 (306 HP) is advertised as a strong performer; with performance specs. similar to the 1998 Gs 400. I Would like to know if the tech improvements in the new GS 350 with a V6 will really give the same great performance as the older V8 engine. Probably should exclude the V6 Hybrid in the comparison.

I'm not a racing type. But today I got my new 2013 GS 350 from the dealer, and on the express way on my way to home, I put it on sports mode, on manual and even on the 4th shift about 60 miles, the car almost jumped to front. I needed to slow down because my wife yelled at me for doing that. So I would see some race between them
