Maintenance Req'd Light Blinks 6X When Engine Is Turned On.

Hi everyone,

I have an '09 Pebble Beach Rx 350. It's got 30,200 miles on it. I just noticed yestederday that the Maintenance Req'd light would blink 6 times every time I turned the car on, then it would go off, and stay off while the car was running. My husband does the oil changes at home, and we manually reset the light after each oil change. It's not time for that yet, so i'm not sure what's causing this to blink. Every other time it's come on, it stays illuminated, but this time, it blinks 6 times when the engine is turned on, then shuts off. Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

sounds like maybe another maintenance event is triggering the "maintenance due" light...I would check the maintenance info screen and see if that might be the case.

The blink light is a early warning, then it turns into a solid after a while.

i think its time to do an oil change. and then you have to reset the light by pressing and holding some buttons,. i forgot.
