By aftermatket I think you mean, can a Lexus backup sensor be added to a previous model that was not equiped with the sensors. I THINK, the answer is no, but I am not 100% sure. If it can be retrofited the cost would be very high. In the new models the senors operate within the navigation package. When you backup the sensors not only beep, but an outline of the car comes on the screen and shows you which corner of the car is too close and exactly how close you are. jondoe888 Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 There may be cheaper ones available. My son's F150 just beeps when it senses an object. It's so handy!
