pj8708 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 For the third year in a row, Toyota leads the pack in most recalls for the year. Does anybody recall a "Recall" (sorry, I couldn't help it) on their Lexus this year?? If so, for what and what model. LEX-SV Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I remember several recalls on my Lexus IS350 in last couple of years(I can think of 3 recalls off the top of my head) and 2 TSIB fixes. But I've had zero unscheduled visits for defects in/out of warranty. The recall visits to the service department were always easy with loaner car, car wash, gas tank filled, and a $500 gift card for the valve spring recall. Lexus customer service still is the benchmark, better than Mercedes, Porsche, Ford, Jag, Toyota, GM based on my actual ownership experiences.
lenore Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 dont forget the disasterous and expensive inverter recall on the RX400h hybrid....
