1997 Sc400 Shock Replacement

hi guys its my first post and im happy to be a member of the lexus owners club :) i wanted to ask if anybody know what shock is best to put on my friends 1997 sc400 because he's trying to put 24" rims and he wants nice quality and comfort price range up to 1 grand thanks i really apreciate it

Welcome to the Club. I haven't modified my car to run on 24s but you may not have too many options available to try. The OEM struts are pretty soft and if you're interested in 24s with a low profile tire it may rub against a suspension part. 20" wheels and tires would be my limit with a Coilover suspension. My coilovers are pretty soft compared to my IS-F suspension.
