phillip06RX400h
I am looking for electrical circuit diagram for the heated seats system to troubleshoot this problem: my driver switch for the heated seat kept ON to the max without turning on or off. My seat is burning hot. I removed the connector out the switch... the seat still hot. The only way to defeat the heated seat is to remove the fuse which I did. Any ideas if the switch or the relay is bad!!! Thanks in advanced.
lenore
I would suspect if the switch is disconnected and seat is still hot, then the relay is bad....However there is a thermostat on the seat heater.....
phillip06RX400h
Thanks lemon. There are 2 relays next to the fuse #43. Do you know if they're heated seats relays? If yes they are, which is for driver seat? I will put the fuse #43 back and remove the relay one at a time. Is it OK to do??? Any safety concerned?? Thanks in advance

lenore
If there are two relays, one for each seat a quick troubleshoot would be to swap and see if the problem goes away....Same for the switches....
phillip06RX400h
Flash14: Thanks so much for the diagrams. This is exactly what I've been looking for. I will post the post all troubleshooting steps later if this gets fixed. Lenore: Thanks, I will swap the relays first. I will follow up later. Bluebullet
Had the same problrm, there is a small connector on the bottom of the seat with a green and grey plug in it. The black part that the plugs plugged into was melted, I replaced the black part for 158.98 and now it works normal again,

SeatHeaterSwitch.pdf SeatHeaterParts.pdf SeatHeaterDiagram.pdf SeatHeaterControlLH.pdf Hi there, My RX330 driver's side seat is definitely getting hotter and hotter on the left side of the seat pan - tho I can dial it down to a bearable temp but the rest of the seat pan/back are not very warm. Can you please repost the RX400H repair manual PDFs? They don't seem to be available anymore and realizing original posts were 9 yrs ago, this is a longshot ask. Thanks in advance.
