Car Locked, Boot Lights Illuminate When Trunk Button Is Pressed :s

hi, i Have a 2008 RX 350.

So with the vehicle locked,

if i go around to the back and press the trunk button to open the tailgate, the boot interior lights illuminate, when the car is locked (Only happens when the button is held)

this is just weird... i was actually checking if the car was locked and discovered this... when u press the tailgate button (near the number plate) the interior boot lights go on temporarily if the boot button is held.

IS THAT WEIRD OR WHAT !!?
