vin92sc Posted September 22, 2011 Share Posted September 22, 2011 Hi everyone Im a newbie. Please help. I have a 92 sc400 with about 122,000 on it. Recent issue when after I do highway drivng and then come to a stop. I notice smoke coming from under the hood near the firewall on passenger side. I popped the hood and there is this big rubber boot thing attached to the firewall and i actually could see behind it. And it looked red like it was heating up. I guess that explains the smoke and smell of rubber. Does anyone know what that part is? All the gauges etc stay in normal mode.I can try and take pics and post what the part is.
