Hey everyone,

A few days ago I noticed my grab handle (oh sh*t handle) on my rear passenger side dripping water onto my back seat. I live in Florida and we have had some serious rain in the past couple weeks. I wrapped a small towel around it and have been parking my car in the garage or in the parking garage at my school but when at work there is no cover. Unfortunately, it poured while I was at work and I was worried about the leak. While cleaning out my car today I noticed it still felt damn on the seats and when I felt the floor it was SOAKED! Under the floor felt like there was a pool down there! I pulled up a small section of the carpet after taking out the floor mat (completely drenched), and I could see underneath there is a lot of water. The water is only under the rear passenger seat and not under any other part of the floor. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem? I understand a lot of people have issues with the sunroof leaking, but I think it may be the weather strip along the top of the car. My car is bright yellow and a 2001, and when I purchased it in 2006, the strip was already discolored with the yellow fading, and seemed like it wasnt in very good shape, but it never leaked before. The stripping around my sunroof seems like it is in perfect condition and there is no dampness around it, nor is there any driplets around the seams. Any feedback is appreciated. I will be taking my car in as soon as possible to have it looked at, although it may not be for a couple of days because of class and work. Thanks!

There are a few drain lines around the sun roof that may be plugged. Sounds like it may have been plugged for awhile and the rubber grommets has dry rotted and letting water in. It could also be the door seal itself.
