It sounds like the springs, but everything seems to be working. I believe most of the maintenance has been done. I don't want to bring it to the dealer for such an item. kyled Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 Well it could be a few things. I would give your undercarriage a good looking at.It could be the lower ball joint. Check your tires for uneven wear, and inspect your ball joints for torn boots. There is even the possibility you just need at little WD40 or try to using silicone spray where the metal meets the rubber. Rabbitfufu Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 just picked up my 2001 LX470 from dealership that was in the shop due to squeeking. for $100 in parts and $550 in labor they replaced all my 'brake mounting hardware' including rusted out emergency brake.
