tommyBr Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Hi all!! My 1998 LS 400 did something strange the other day. I bought a key and programed it by pressing the gas pedal and brake pedal several times as instructed. I also replaced the Battery the same day, I didn't notice it a first, but the speedometer is 15 MPH faster. I called "my mechanic guy" and he was befuddled. so, I detached the negative side of the battery terminal and the speedometer needle went to 0, I hooked it back up and it went to 15 MPH. WTF! has anybody heard of this? I thought maybe it was the way I programed the key, but I don't know. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
