Gear Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Hi everyone, Just got my 04 GX470 And for the first three days, the remote key for the door was not working, I figured should be the battery run flat. So I went to the radioshock and changed the battery, it was still not working, so I guessed it maybe broken, Let a Toyota dealder check the key (just check the key since it's free), said the key is working. If I wang them to inscept the car , it's gonna take me 120 usd, ----------------------WOW---------------------------- Amazing things happened, the remote key start working a few days after changing the battery. ---------------------sigh-------------------------------- It quits working again this morning.... --------------questions-------------------------------- is it a switch inside the vechile that allow the remote key to open the door? Should I pay the dealer to do a inspect? Or is it a simple problem that I can find out myself? What is the worst case?. How much I will need to fix it? Thanks in advanced! P.s.
