topps Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 I have checked my amp under the seat, and that runs all the door speakers. That amp is good. topps Posted August 26, 2011 Author Share Posted August 26, 2011 Thanks, I was afraid of that. Front and rear speakers have plenty of punch but the sub woofer is very weak. I replaced it with a much better kicker sub from another lexus post hoping the better sub woofer would sound better, but the amp is just not putting out enough juice to push it strong enough to get any bass. steve2006 Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 Can't be sure but the sub amp may be in the trunk located near to the fuel tank, remove the trim at the rear of the trunk and have a look by tracing the sub speaker wires back to the amp.
