supersub
Hi, I was driving a CT200 the other week and noticed a high pitched squeal coming from the pedal area as soon as I touched the brakes. It didn't matter what the speed was, but at low speed the sound was more noticable because road noise is diminished. It kind of sounded like a combination of hydraulic fluid swooshing through an orifice and an electronic high pitched tone. The salesman said it was normal. I wanted to ask a mechanic but none were available. I've read a few posts on various forums and several people have complained about it. Anyone know the sound? Is there a fix? Has anyone confronted their dealership about it? Thanks.
Legendarith
I hear it too when I'm driving, but it's only noticeable if I have no music playing. I will let you know if it gets louder...
nycbreckman
I hear it as well. I have only had the car for less than 2 weeks and just thought it was break in stuff. Maybe not?
