Santa29 Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 Hi, Got a new 2009 Lexus Rx 350 and right now I just noticed on the passenger side backdoor, it is not smooth and there seems to be something wrong with the door mechanism/handle. If I push it slightly, it will not close properly, seems like an issue with the locking mechanism, so unless I push hard, the door will not close, and when I open it, it makes a rather loud snap than the usual soft sound when opening all the rest of the doors? has anyone had this issue before, is it a door alignment issue or do you think spraying some wd40 on the door lock will make this go away? cduluk Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Are there any indications that the car was in a previous accident? Is there a VIN tag on that door panel?
