Tramp300
Hi, 1994 SC 300. I wonder how you fix your license plate in the front? There are no holes or pieces where I can fix it.
Kyle Petree
If you have a tow hook hole on the front you can use something like this... http://www.rhoplate.com/

RKS1
There is a license plate holder made to fit on the front bumper that has lugs to fit centered in the proper place. You have to drill through this holder and the bumper skin to a couple of fittings (female threaded nuts) attached behind the bumper. The holder acts as the template to locate these fittings. I forget the bolt size to attach the license and holder but would guess 9 or 10 mm. A Lexus dealer can probably give you info on this; it's been several years since I attached mine. My question to anyone with a first gen SC: Does rotating the dash lights reostat to the full right (click) position increase the headlights-off dash brightness? My 07 Highlander does; my 98 SC300 has no difference between full reostat and the click position other that keeping full brightness with headlights on. A simpler way to ask: Do I have a second bulb burned out? Thanks, Bob
