ejohnson1503 Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 I have been having trouble with my 1994 es300. when i start it in the morning or after work the same problem seems to occur, when i go to accelerate nothing happens. rpms dont go up, care doesnt get power, it barely moves for the first 10-20 seconds. then after that it sputters into motion. once it gets going it runs perfect even during acceleration. its only after it sits for a few hours does this problem begin to occur. the car has 241k miles so it could be a number of issues. iv only owned it for 25k miles (or a little over a year). i would appreciate any suggestions. i am not looking to invest any serious money in the car so i am hesitant to take it to mechanic. any suggestions???
