dougvickie2444 Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 i just purchased a 1994 ls 400. i have installed a kenwood head unit, new door speakers and a new amp. the system has almost bass reponse even with the sub connected. i have been told be several audio installers that the lexus ls400 is a car with poor sound no matter what radio or speakers i put in. they said today that because of the position of the gas tank even if i put subs in the trunk, the sound would not get into the car due to the gas tank. is all of this true? i have already spent over $900 dollars on this system and the nakamichi system with rotted speakers sounded better. need advise please.
