sludgeguy Posted May 24, 2011 Share Posted May 24, 2011 our 2001 Rx 300 with 125k miles has just ( 4/11) developed the dreaded sludge engine problem , looks like new engine is in order ... I can't sort thru all the info on this and get to a bottom line , if there is one , re what to do to have Toyota do something to help with "their" problem after the extended sludge warranty period ended... anyone have experience and/or advise ???
