1998 Gs300 Trans

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I have a 1998 GS300, recently purchased 112,000mi. The trans seems to glide when I turn at about 15 mph. I want to check the trans fluid but am unsure how to read the dipstick. Can some one help with this?

thanks

The tranny fluid should be warmed up first, Then go through all of the gears and then back in park, Now check the fluid level with the car running, There are designated marks on the tranny dipstick cheers.gif

Friend,

There are two marks on the dipstick. The fluid is between the two marks. Is that about right?

Also, should the car be in park or neutral?
