isam Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 Hello, When I first got my 2004 LS430 from the dealership I noiticed some wind noise that seem to be either comming from the front windshield or from the moon roof :( . It starts at around 55mph and grows louder as I pick up speed. I asked the dealership to look into it and they said it was the sound of wind hitting on the front windshiled and that it was normal. SW03ES Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 It may be that the windshield is seated incorrectly. Lexus had a problem with this on the LS430 in 2001. I would take it back to the dealer and request a test drive in another 2004 LS430 for comparison. If the sound is not there, then they should reseat the windshield under warranty. monarch Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 . Have you ever been in any '04 LS 430 that didn't have this wind noise? If so, I'd go for ride with the service dept. rep in the quiet LS and then go for a ride with the rep in your LS so the rep will be convinced the noise is abnormal.
