RX350lover
The Lexus dealer charged me for 7 litres of oil when I asked for a synthetic oil change. Is it the same for you? The manual says 6.1 litres with filter and 5.7 litres without filter. Honestly, I find this whole thing confusing. I am used to more straightforward instructions. How much oil are you adding when doing an oil change in a 2009 RX 350? Thanks. P.S. One litre = 1.06 quart
dcdyd
I have 08 RX350 and it normally takes 6.2 quart to 6.6 quart for a oil change. I am not sure why does the variation come from. I believe that the dealer charges for the full measure for the oil. So if it takes 6.1 liters for you they will charge 7 liters.

Too bad they couldn't give me the 0.9 litres left for topping it up when needed!!! ;)
