95 Sc300, Headlights Quit (Sort Of)

So my 95 sc300 has decided to loose it's mind a little.

Driving down the road while it was starting to get dark. I turned on the parking lights (first setting on the head light switch). I assumed the parking lights came on, but they didn't.

It got a little darker so I turned on the headlights (second position on the switch) and got nothing.

I rarely use the "Auto" setting for the headlights, but out of desperation I flipped the switch onto Auto, and I got all the lights. High and low beams work, the parking lights come on, everything.

I spent the rest of the evening testing and replacing relays and fuses. I even whipped out the Lexus Electrical service manual/diagrams and from the best I can tell, all the pieces of the circuit are functioning correctly.

Anyone else had this issue? It acts like the entire circuit for the lights is dead except for the "Auto" setting.

I'm stumped.
