I'd like to turn off the lamps and the beep so no one knows which car is mine that is being unlocked or locked until I get in into it. Much safer in my opinion. Unless you REALLY want the lights to flash, if it's not the fuse's I'm not sure I would shell out the kind of money it might take to track it down and repair. 1990LS400 Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 From what I'm reading, the turn signals don't flash on a 96 SC when the car is locked and unlocked - only a beeping sound - and that the light flashing feature wasn't added on the SC until the 1998 model year.
