mysteryny
Hello, I have a 2000 gs300 and my battery dies if i don't drive the car after 2 days or so. I took it to a few people that confirmed that its not the alarm. Also one mechanic told me that it could be my cpu not turning sensors off and that i should replace that. Any opinions on this would be very helpfull.
Mike813
if you have a voltmeter (rent one at autozone), touch both of the battery terminals with the meter with the car running. if it reads anything below 14v then its your alternator not supplying the charge. if it reads steady 14v then its your battery that needs to be replaced. dont trust the autozone guys if you dont know em. theyll drag this giant machine to your car and take about like 20 min to figure it out when all you need is a voltmeter to tell you the same info a little meter in 5 seconds
