Motorola Droid X In 2010 Ls460L - Phonebook

Recommended Posts

Recently switched from LG standard phone to a Motorola DroidX. Bluetooth connection is simple, but the phonebook will not copy down to the system. Indications are that the transfer is taking place, but then a "transfer failed" message comes up and no contacts have been moved across. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Thank you for this post! Actually, I was having the same issue and did not realize that the issue was with my android (T-Mobile Samsung S5) phone. Now that I understand that the phone must give permission, the LS460 HDD accepted the phone book just fine. What may have been obvious to others, was not so obvious to me. And I do appreciate the information! Thanks again!

Sometimes I have to delete all the contacts in the car phonebook before I do the transfer. This is from an old BB torch as the iPhone won't do an OBEX push to the car.
