mphubbar Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 I have recently noticed my car making a strange noise, it is a kind of whining/screeching noise that is barely audible at idle but at higher speeds increases dramatically. It becomes very noticeable above 2000 rpms. I thought it might be the fly wheel or belt but I looked and could not see anything really out of place and the belt seems to have decent tension. I literally just had it in the shop where they inspected it and changed the transmission fluid and brake fluid and said that everything else looked really good so I am not sure what this could be.
