biker83 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hi Guys! recently purchase 98 gs400 Steering column was making noise while tilting, and now completely fail. its still goes in and out, but not tilts. I can hear how it clicks when I press down, but no motor noise. Any Ideas? Thanks I previously had 03 gs430 and steering worked perfectly. 1990LS400 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Maybe the fix is similar to this one for a 97 LS400: There are a lots of videos and forum threads on this kind of issue but I don't remember many specifically for the GS. 1990LS400 Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 While the part numbers are different, the basic concepts are the same.
