Satz
hi all evertyime I turn the car on, the AC switches to recirc. This happens whether the AC is on or off, and whether it's in manual or AUto mode. Is there anyway to force the recirc to stay off, so I don't have to switch it off everytime I start? I know I can increase the temp, but I'd like it to be at its coldest thank you Satz
exmeaguy
I have the same complaint. I am not aware of any settings change to prevent this from happening. It's designed that way to be more efficient with the recirc turned on.
lemon
If you have the temp set to 'max cold' then the recirc will always come on. If you bump it up one single degree to 18 (celsius in my case - whatever it is in F in your case) instead of 'max' then the recirc will not come on automatically. However, if your desire is to have it at it's coldest, then that's what A/C plus RECIRC will do. Since it recirculates already cooled air, it will be colder than drawing hot, humid air from outside.
