poolq2010 Posted February 17, 2004 Share Posted February 17, 2004 I recently purchased a used 1997 Lexus Es300. It only came with one Key and it appears to be a Genric Key. Do I need to purchase a Lexus FOB Key. The Car starts and the Key Opens the Drivers door but will not fit the Passenger door. I also recently purchased two remotes from EBAY and tried to program the remote but it will not confirm the program. I Think the Key has to be an FOB key but not Sure. Please help as I want to get this remote working. Also I noticed on the Lexus-parts site that the car has to be registered with Lexus. Where do I go to register with Lexus besides the website.
