rayy117 Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Hello, My name is Ray and I just picked up an 02 IS300 last month and installed TEIN flex Coil overs on it a week or two after... Ever since the Flex has been on, it started making clunking noises when i hit small bumps/cracks on the road but when i go over a speed bump, it doesn't make the noise.. A lot of people on different forums such as my.is or clublexus and have the FLEX has those clunking noises as well. I was wondering if there is a Way to fix the clunking noise (Im pretty sure there is but idk whats wrong with it)... Was i suppose to put on the stock upper mount piece(thin metal piece) that's on the stock one? The first picture.... please help me out... Some people said to tighten down the top hat bolt to 80lbs and it'll stop the clunking noises.. Is that true? ANY HELP WILL DO!
