combatmomma
Hello fellow Lexus enthusiasts, I purchased a 2006 Lexus GS 430 last year so I'm new to the Lexus world but I took the vehicle in for 40K mile maitenance and was told that my rear rotors and brake pads would need to be replaced soon. I'm beginning to hear a grinding noise but I don't want to pay $800+ to the dealer for this service. Are there any recommendations to what type of rotors/brake pads I should purchase (i.e. slotted vs non slotted and cermaic pads vs standard). I'm confused, there is so much information out on the internet but I'm a newbie and I don't want to purchase something that's not going to be the right fit for my vehicle. Any assistance/guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
