2008 Is350 Radio & Xm Reception Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We bought a used 2008 is350 a few days ago, and we are having trouble with the FM radio and XM cutting out, it just goes to static, and it seems to have a little static over all stations. The CD player works great, but I'm not sure what to do about the Radio & Satellite. Took the car to the dealer and told him about this, but they said their was no service bullitin, so they did not know how to fix the problem.

I'm taking the car back again today.

Has anoyone else experienced such a problem?

Is their a fix for this?

Thanks,

Langre

Ask you dealer to look up TSIB L-SB-0090-09.

It covers a somewhat similar issue that you describe - yet only with the XM Radio, FM still functions. I have this issue with my Lexus XM Radio, and the "cycling" of the ignition does reset the tuner. I am living with it at the moment as my car is out of warranty.
