Langre Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Hi all, We bought a used 2008 is350 a few days ago, and we are having trouble with the FM radio and XM cutting out, it just goes to static, and it seems to have a little static over all stations. The CD player works great, but I'm not sure what to do about the Radio & Satellite. Took the car to the dealer and told him about this, but they siad their was no service bullitin, so they did not know how to fix the problem. I'm taking the car back again today. Has anoyone else experienced such a problem? Thanks, Langre
Coney05 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Is the xm a factory unit or an after market install done at the dealer?
Langre Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 The XM was was after market, installed at the Dealer.
dcfish Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The XM was was after market, installed at the Dealer. I would suspect the aftermarket XM install, Dealer or not. Often enough the dealer doesn't know what there doing with factory equipment muchless aftermarket
Slickjay73 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Do you have a cell phone charger or something similar plugged into one of the aux. outlets? We had an issue at the dealer where we had a radio with bad static issues and it was a cheap usb converter that was plugged in to one of the outlets.
