tmalhi23 Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Hi Lexus Owners Does anyone know where I can get a replacement 2006 Lexus GS 300 AWD Headlight Assembly other than the dealership? Ive checked a few autowreckers and no one seems to have this part. I only have a small part missing in the headlight assembly ( the part where you plug in the headlight bulb) but the lexus dealer told me that this part is not sold seperately and i have to buy the whole headlight assembly. If there is anyone who knows where I can get this part, I would greatly appreciate the much needed help? THanks in advance

cduluk Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 What part do you need exactly? I might have something laying around from prior headlight mods... Most Lexus headlight plugs/parts are common.
tmalhi23 Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 it is just the part where you plug in the D4 headlight bulb?I dont know the exact name but i have included a picture.let me know soon if you have it. thanks in advance
cduluk Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Oh yeah, i've got one. However it's for the D2S HID bulb. But i'm about 100% sure the bulb holders are identical. But if not, it wouldn't take more than modifying one of the notches in the black base of the bulb... but like i said, pretty sure you wouldn't need to. Other than maybe one of the notches, the D2S and D4S bulb bases are completely identical. Just as long as you still use the D4S "ballast" this will work perfectly. Here's some pics: I currently have it modified to fit on another ballast. I can remove it and leave you the (pos +) and (neg -) wires (inside the metal-threaded insulator) and you can solder them onto your ballast. If you want it, just let me know- i'll ship it to you no cost. You can PM me your shipping info if you're interested. If it doesn't fit or something, no harm done! 1
